Radio 3, the BBC’s classical and culture station, is looking for a new generation of contributors and presenters. Do you have an interest and passion for classical music and a desire to share your interest with a broad audience?

Together with the BBC Academy, Radio 3 is holding a free media familiarisation day which will offer an introduction to the station, practical experiences in a radio studio, as well as masterclasses with experienced programme makers.

They are particularly looking to reflect the diversity of Britain’s cultural life, and gain different points of view and insights to enrich programming, so would welcome applicants from an ethnic minority background.

They are especially keen to hear from people from across the UK who can add original and contemporary perspectives to their programmes, so wherever you live, you are strongly encouraged to apply.

If you are interested and can also be at BBC Broadcasting House, London, W1A 1AA on Monday 18 March 2019, then Radio 3 want to hear from you.

More information and full details on how to apply are available from the BBC Academy website here.
