Experience Durham and Music Durham are seeking to appoint both a Performance Music Assistant and a Music Photographer for the 2018/19 academic year. These bursaries are aimed at students who will be studying at Durham University in the coming year, and are worth £1000 each.
In an increasingly competitive graduate market, students must evidence that they have graduated with more than just a degree. These positions will provide a significant development opportunity for students wishing to gain valuable experience in a working environment.
The recruitment team will be looking for a suitable student who will be dedicated to promoting music at Durham. Once appointed, students will be expected to commit 5 hours per week during each of the three terms to their duties as set out in their role descriptions.
How to apply:
Submit a CV and a supporting letter of no more than 700 words clearly identifying:
- The reason why you believe you should be appointed to the position;
- Any relevant previous experience
to Lydia Heald at [email protected].
Applicants for the Music Assistant role may also submit examples of previous publicity/design work if relevant, and applicants for the Photographer role should also submit a small portfolio of previous work.
The closing date for applications is Monday 15th October, 23:59, with interviews to be held on Thursday 18th October.
