Calling all trombonists!

We would like to invite you to come to Durham on Sunday 22nd July to take part in the Durham Trombone Day, organised by the British Trombone Society, as part of the Durham Brass Festival. We hope to assemble the largest choir of trombones that Durham has ever seen and we will be giving an outdoor performance in central Durham as a major feature of the last day of the Festival.

The day will run from 10am – 5pm in Durham Town Hall, and will consist of lots of playing to prepare for the late afternoon concert, along with recitals and presentations by leading trombone players, including John Kenny from the London Guildhall School of Music, and Katy Jones of the Halle Orchestra.

Tickets will be available on the day £10 BTS members, £15 non-members) but booking in advance helps planning and recuded the price by £5.
