Lingling Yu & Gan Guo

Previously considered a musical prodigy on the Chinese pipa (lute), Lingling Yu has blossomed into one of the greatest virtuosi on the instrument, displaying truly extraordinary delicacy and precision. She is joined in this concert by Gan Guo, a master of the erhu (two-stringed fiddle) and a major world figure in Chinese music who has performed in over 70 countries and collaborated with numerous other internationally renowned figures such as Tan Dun, Lang Lang and Jean-François Zygel. Tonight, these two musicians present a selection of supremely intimate and refined traditional pieces.
