The Dunelm Consort and Players return to its origins to present a Lenten performance of J.S. Bach’s powerful St John Passion. Full of drama, excitement and melancholy, this will be the first time the work has been heard in Durham for several years. Alongside Consort soloist regulars, the group is delighted to welcome back a former member from Germany, as well as two up-and-coming young soloists from London.
