Come down to the Library Bar on Wednesday 19 June for Durfest’s festival fundraising live lounge, a laid-back evening filled with chill acoustics.

We will be holding an acoustic live lounge performance outside on the Library Terrace from 8-10.30pm. Durfest is proud to exhibit the rising stars of Durham’s talented music scene, who will be performing a range of covers and original songs, showcasing the innovative creativity of Durham’s students.

There will also be an open mic held indoors for those of you who are a bit more spontaneous – we will supply backing musicians, so all you have to do is bring a song of your choice to perform. To finish off the night, we’ll be getting a top DJ to play from 10:30-midnight, who will be announced shortly.

The evening’s theme will be centered around plastic, with decorations made from collected plastic around Durham and posters outlining the damages of plastic waste.
