The Hill Orchestra Presents: A Celestial Voyage

15 March 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

St Oswalds Church
Church Street , Durham. DH1 3DQ

You are warmly invited to join The Hill Orchestra as they take you on a voyage through the musical history of space travel and exploration, in the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. The programme includes sci-fi film and television classics such as Doctor Who and Star Wars, leading into Debussy’s elegant ‘Claire de Lune’ and the dramatic ‘Mars’ from Holst’s Planet Suite. This celestial programme will conclude with Dvorak’s exquisite ‘New World Symphony’, containing famous themes which you are guaranteed to recognise. We are looking forward to putting on this exciting concert and hope to see you there!

Refreshments will be served during a short interval of 20 minutes.
