This event is a chance to speak to the experts who are all Durham Alumni, and have gone on to do a wide variety of careers. This is a great opportunity to speak to the experts about life after Durham and possible career paths. This would be useful whether you were a music student or not!
The event will be on Friday 10th March at 1pm in the Concert Room of the Music Department. There will be three talks from industry experts: – Alison Acton: A Music therapist with over 25 year’s experience – Greg Boardman: A Music Producer and Director of a Production Company – Claire Crinson: A Teacher and Performer who has a large and impressive portfolio After the talk, there will be refreshments held in the common room and you will get the chance to informally speak to the experts and ask them questions individually.

This is also a great chance to network with some of the industry experts! This is a rare and useful career talk that would benefit a fresher, a finalist, or even a postgraduate No matter what year you are in, or what degree you do – it is never too early to be thinking of life after University.
