In the lead up to exams, take your mind off revision for a short while and unwind with a free wellbeing workshop.
The sessions aims to look at the imbalances that take place in the body due to stress and anxiety. Stimulation of the sympathetic nervous system releases cortisol and adrenaline, which in fearful situations is very useful. However, on a daily basis, it can be unhelpful to the bodies healthy functioning.
Through specific movements, grounding and breath work, the body and mind become more integrated and attuned.
As Fritz Pearls said “we don’t loose our minds, we loose our body“.
If one can increase intuitiveness and awareness to the signs and symptoms of stress in the body then these techniques can support improved wellbeing.
Open to all. No need to book, just turn up to the Maiden Castle Aerobics Room.
