Agent Dan Usztan from literary and talent agency United Agents is hosting a free talk for all students about his experience of leadership in the arts.

His company United Agents represents award-winning clients who write, produce and star in highly acclaimed TV series such as Sex Education, Grantchester, The Witcher; as well as bestselling authors such as Philip Pullman, Benjamin Zephaniah, Julian Barnes and Alan Bennett; and comedians such as Dawn French, Katherine Ryan, Ricky Gervais, and Rhys James.

Dan represents a range of clients, such as writers, choreographers, directors, illustrators and composers. He is also a Durham University English Literature graduate and a mentor on the Durham Leadership Academy.

Open to all students, Dan will be discussing his day-to-day role as an agent; how his company searches for and handles clients; as well as discussing the importance of leadership in the arts and the challenges it presents.
