The choir sings two services a week in term time: Choral Evensong on a Wednesday at 5.45pm and the College Eucharist on a Sunday at 11.00am. Additionally, on three or four Sundays each term, the choir sing the office of Compline at 21:00. Members of the public are also welcome to attend our services. Details of all our regular services can be found on the termly chapel card on the chaplaincy website. The choir regularly sing in cathedrals, both in Great Britain and across the world. The chapel is also used for concerts and recordings.

In addition to this, the choir sings at least one concert each term. This typically follows a vocal masterclass focussing on a particular performance issue, thereby giving all singers the opportunity to showcase their developing talent in front of an audience on a fairly regular basis.

Outside of Bede Chapel, the choir enjoys many opportunities to sing in various sacred and secular spaces around the world. Locally, in the year 2015/16, we have sung services at the Cathedrals of Durham, Ripon, and York; nationally, Mass at Westminster Cathedral, and Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral; internationally, we have sung both services and concerts in our highly enjoyable tour of Vienna.
